So it seems I have been away from the site for awhile.  My updates aren't very frequent as you may have noticed but with work, family, and friends it seems I neglect to update my site.  Fortunately I was not as abusive towards my 3D.

I have been messing around with level designs with my buddies Scotty, Brian and Jonny for a survival level in Left 4 Dead.  After trying to export objects out of Maya for use in the Steam Engine I came across a lot of problems.  The insturctions seemed clear but it looks like the placement of my files within Steam has caused some problems in progressing with the testing of layout designs.  A bit upsetting but I can only hope that with the release of Left 4 Dead 2, the Steam Engine is revamped a bit to make it easier for users to mod the game.

If all else fails, I will up the polys of these layouts and add more detail and then place them in the Unreal Engine.  Unreal will get me using ZBrush again.  I have to learn how to better use ZBrush to detail environmental objects.  I may have to hit up some tutorials as a refresher.  I will be needing it for my Waterworld Level for sure.  I have updated my current projects page so make sure to check it out.  I hope to be texturing some stuff in all these scenes sooner than later.

Thanks for reading!
